**Salary details**: $63,702 to $85,992

Usual hours are Monday - Friday, with occasional weekend work (paid at overtime rates).

Seeking pharmacists who are keen to experience all that hospital pharmacy has to offer. A rotational position is now up for grabs A fantastic way of getting exposed to all functions of a hospital pharmacy role before you specialise in the future. Perfect for a registered pharmacist with 1 to 3 years’ experience but also equally also great for anyone keen to learn a wider range of clinical and operational areas in a tertiary (bigger) NZ hospital.

Successful applicants will have the ability to work independently on a ward with support from designated senior members of the team. Good time management and organisational skills are required to prioritise and undertake the various activities in which you will be involved. Some travelling to rural hospitals (on a day trip basis) may be required.

**Mōu | About you**

Required skills & experience you will need to be consider for this role:

- Clinical wards - general medicine or surgical wards, speciality areas such as mental health, paediatrics, oncology & haematology
- Anaesthetic assessment clinic - medication history taking
- Dispensary and supply services
- Compounding services, including clinical checking of complex oncology, haematology and clinical trial regimes
- Quality and safe use of medicines/ medicines support/ medicines information
- Clinical trials
- Contributing to clinical team meetings and activities such as prescriber education, in-services, audits, journal club and MDTs.
- Support of the onsite community pharmacy
- On-call services

Where you commence in the rotation will depend on what previous experiences and skills you have.
