**The details**: Fixed term one year, Full-time - 80 hours per fortnight (1.0 FTE)

**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**

We are seeking a NZ qualified technician (National Certificate in Pharmacy, level 4 or 5) to join our dispensary and supply operations team. The technician input into this team includes working across all areas of hospital pharmacy as well as contributing to our community pharmacy operation when required. The work, on top of general dispensary and supply operations, also involves rostered time in clinical ward areas, our specialised compounding unit (cytotoxic medicines and chemotherapy), working with IT systems, infectious disease team support and potentially some work within clinical trials. Day trips to help service rural hospitals may be required on occasion. You will work alongside a large happy and hard-working team of pharmacists, technicians and assistants.

**Mōu | About you**

Required skills & experience you will need to be considered for this role:

- A NZ qualified Pharmacy Technician, with hospital pharmacy experience desirable, but not essential.
- Being qualified as a Pharmacy Accuracy Technician (PACT) and or previous clinical experience will be an advantage.
- Training and further learning is encouraged and supported.
- There is flexibility with rostered hours over Monday - Sunday. If spread over a Monday to Friday roster there will be however occasional rostered Saturdays or Sundays and Public Holiday involvement.
