**About the role**
We are looking for a proactive individual to join our Regional Claims team. - Liaison between our clients, the insurers, legal advisers, and other related stakeholders
- Preparation of accurate and concise claim records for brokers
- Processing of legal fees and monitoring reserves
- General administration and record maintenance
**What makes working at Aon Aotearoa New Zealand different**
- As a Claims Specialist you will have the opportunity to collaborate with other professionals both within and externally to the organisation
- Your valued contributions will play a key part in the delivery of our Risk and Broking services to our corporate clients
- With our commitment to your development, this career pathway opens development into other areas within our Commercial Risk line of business
- You will have access to a range of benefits that we hope will make an impact on your life when and where it matters most including access to a range of subsidised insurance coverage - Life, Income and Trauma, Partially Subsidised Southern Cross Health Insurance, access to extensive Wellbeing programmes, and a reward leave programme
**Skills and experience that will lead to success**
- Ideally you will come from a similar background from within the industry, otherwise experience coming from a customer or solution driven environment with strong administrative aspects to the role from within a corporate setting would be well suited to the role
- A customer first mentality along with being a proactive problem solver
- You’ll be a natural communicator who understands how to tailor to the situation, whether it be face to face, over the phone or through written correspondence
- You’ll be a motivated self-starter who once up and running is able to work with a level of autonomy
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise your work
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence using the usual suit of Office Products, but also the ability to pick up new systems
**How we support our colleagues**
In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce. Plus, our agile, inclusive environment allows you to manage your wellbeing and work/life balance, ensuring you can be your best self at Aon.
- Furthermore, all colleagues enjoy two “Global Wellbeing Days” each year, encouraging you to take time to focus on yourself.
- We offer a variety of working style solutions, but we also recognise that flexibility goes beyond just the place of work... and we are all for it. We call this Smart Working
- Our continuous learning culture inspires and equips you to learn, share and grow, helping you achieve your fullest potential. As a result, at Aon, you are more connected, more relevant, and more valued.
