**About the role**

As Produce 2ic you will be assisting the Produce Manager for the smooth running of the produce department. You will help lead, mentor, and inspire your team and ensure the department is maintained to a high standard.
- Control ordering through effective use of in-store purchasing systems in the absence of the Produce Manager.
- Recruitment, training and performance management of team.
- Ensuring displays and shelves are appropriately stocked and merchandised correctly.
- Stock replenishment.
- Ensuring food safety and health & safety are maintained.
- Ensure department range matches format and customer service requirements.
- Ensure operational delivery standards are met or exceeded through sufficient stock level and department merchandising.
- Recruitment, training and performance management of team.

**What we’re looking for***:

- Previous Customer Service and Produce experience.
- SAP Knowledge Preferred
- Ability to lift and move goods up to 20kg.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Attention to detail.

**Days and Hours of Work**:
Tuesday to Saturday (Sunday/Monday off) - Hours to be discussed at interview
