We are hiring Steel Fixers for their teams and projects in Newmarket in CBD Auckland. If you have the skills, experience and the drive to deliver high quality steel fixing and would like to help build and grow New Zealand then we would love to hear from you.

Your job will be to prepare and install reinforcing steel based on specifications, detail sheets, drawings etc.

Are you able to
- High level of accuracy and productivity
- Handle straight and pre-bent steel safely
- Tie reinforcing steel cages
- Ability to understand layouts, drawings, production detail sheets.
- Knowledge of the safe usage and handling of all tools, machinery and testing equipment

What we need from you
- Minimum 1 Year experience in Steel Fixing is preferred
- Excellent work ethic with a positive attitude
- High drive to be successful and willing to go that extra mile
- Willing to undertake a pre-employment medical test if successful
- Ability to read and understand detailing and constructions plans/drawings
- Reliable and honest
- God knowledge of Health and Safety in construction
- Site Safe accreditation would be preferred
