**Job Description**:
An exciting opportunity has become available for a strong retail leader to champion our Northern Torpedo7 stores (Whangarei to Manukau) by maximising commercial success through the development and implementation of strategic operational strategies, projects and functions.

This role provides leadership in all aspects of planning, both short term and strategic, and provides accurate monthly reporting of operational functions. It requires you to take overall responsibility for the success of this designated group of nine stores (from Whangarei to Manukau) by ensuring managers achieve and exceed set targets and objectives and develop teams to meet future requirements as the business develops. You will know exactly the right levers to pull to get your teams humming to maximise the stores profitability.

This involves regular visits to stores to ensure objectives such as store development, performance improvement, store manager change-over and project management are met.

**Qualifications**:
Due to the nature of this role, we are seeking a strong and consistent communicator who is flexible and available to the Store Managers.

Ideally you will have:

- Very strong retail leadership experience, preferably overseeing multi-stores
- A genuine passion for developing teams with strong coaching and mentoring experience,
- Excellent relationship building, based on trust, honesty, confidence and mutual respect
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills with a results focus
- High levels of emotional maturity and professionalism with excellent time management, planning and self-motivation.
- A very strong customer service focus
- The ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of audiences
- A focused, analytical and detailed mindset able to make logical decisions

Naturally any experience within a similar industry would be an advantage.
