Are you looking to make a real difference in your community? We are currently looking for empathetic and passionate Support Workers to work within our across our Community Services. Whether you are looking for flexibility around other commitments or would prefer regular rostered shifts, we have a variety of permanent (full-time and part-time) and casual options on offer.

**We are looking for a support worker in Thames Friday - Sunday 6:30am starts**

**What does a Support Worker do?**

As part of a wider team, you will assist our clients to live as independently as possible, within their homes and community. You will help our clients to achieve their goals and reach their potential, through both practical and emotional support. Responsibilities can be varied and you will follow a care plan, which may include some or all of the below:

- Meal preparation
- Medication supervision
- Peg feeding
- Community outings and integration
- Personal cares (showering, toileting etc) Home management (house work)

You will earn between $23.38 - $29.10 per hour, depending on experience and qualification.

- Previous healthcare or care-giving experience is required for this role.
- Excellent communication skills
- Healthcare qualifications are advantageous
- Most positions require a full NZ drivers' licence and your own reliable transport
