Miranda Smith Homecare was established in Auckland in 1999 and is now based around the North Island and Canterbury. We specialise in aged care in the community. All our clients are vulnerable in some way, either physically or cognitively and we also provide palliative and end of life care.

We have an exciting opportunity in the Hawkes Bay region to join our team as the Hawkes Bay Homecare Manager**.** This is a varied role, working both in the office and the community, visiting clients, rostering, overseeing our wonderful team of carers and working alongside founder Miranda Smith. We are committed to providing compassionate care to our clients in the comfort of their own homes. You will be joining a supportive team of healthcare professionals who value team work and excellence.

While providing wrap-around case management and working with private clients and their families to ensure they remain comfortably in their own home. We have a strong loyal team of carers who have been with the business for many years. This role provides a real sense of achievement, as you work with some of our most vulnerable clients, their families and committed carers to ensure they have exceptional support and care. This really is a lovely position which has been held by the current manager for the last 5 years who will provide a thorough handover before she retires.

**The role will include**:

- Assessing clients requirements of care
- Writing a Service Delivery Plan
- Helping choose a suitable carer/s for specific clients
- Introducing carers to ensure the best fit with client and carer.
- Ongoing wrap around support for clients and carers
- One on One relationships with client, family and care team
- Weekly Rostering
- Fortnightly reporting to Miranda Smith
- Team meetings with other regional managers and clinical co-ordinators
