Pharmacy Services are seeking a pharmacist to join the pharmacy team at Waikato Hospital to be part of our Quality and Safe Use of Medicines team, with a focus on clinical trials.

**Mō tātou Ratonga | About our Service**
You will be working alongside another clinical trials pharmacist and a pharmacy technician, and be involved in all aspects of providing pharmacy clinical trial services such as dispensing, setting-up trials, liaising with our cytotoxic compounding unit, communicating with clinical trial nurses and meeting trial monitors. There will also be involvement with compassionate supply programmes.
**Mōu | About you**
As a member of our Quality and Safe Use of Medicines team, the role will potentially offer other opportunities, such as involvement with guidelines, as well as being a part of the overall pharmacy service.
Hospital experience, and/or experience in clinical trials/research, is desirable but not essential. Suitable for a junior-intermediate level pharmacist.
Attention to detail, excellent communication and organisational skills, flexibility, a pro-active approach and ability to work both independently and as an integral team member are all desirable attributes. A natural love of trials, research and medicines safety would be a bonus
This is a full time permanent position for a NZ registered pharmacist, with occasional involvement in Saturday and public holiday dispensary rosters, plus inclusion in the on-call team if required.
