**ABOUT THE ROLE**

As an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician, you'll work with our manufacturing teams to deliver a safe and reliable plant. Your primary role will involve:

- Maintaining the reliability of instrumentation and electrical equipment at our Mount Maunganui manufacturing site through preventative and corrective maintenance, aligned with industry best practice.
- Working alongside production, distribution, and external contractors, to ensure plant availability, maintain statutory compliance of equipment, and implement improvements.

We are big on Health and Safety as we know we all have a collective effort in helping to get each other home safe. This role is primarily a daytime role, however there is a shared requirement for rostered weekends and after-hours work including call outs to provide maximum plant availability.

**ABOUT YOU**

We are keen to hear from individuals that are excited about and can contribute to, a positive team environment. You know how to have a laugh but get the work done and you are flexible and adaptable to changing work demands. You also:

- Have a strong commitment to the health and safety of yourself, your team and the environment
- Hold a NZ Certificate in Electrical Engineering (Level 4) as a minimum
- Hold a National Certificate in Industrial Measurement and Control (Level 4)
- Hold a Current EWRB Electrical Registration
- The ability to plan, organise, prioritise and meet agreed deadlines
- Ability to make sound decisions and resourceful solutions
- Practical knowledge and understanding in the use of a CMMS, SAP experience will be an advantage
