We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and commercial people leader to work with this large and growing NZX listed business as their Chief Financial Officer.

We are looking for a real self-starter and someone that has a growth focused mentality with an agile approach to problem solving. We are looking for someone who embraces technology and the automation of finance processes and systems, and who can lead the organisation through some automation projects.

We are looking a CFO to continue to build and drive a high performing and engaging culture to the business, while fostering an environment of open communication and success. You will have a continuous improvement mentality and be leading a team of three direct reports, with a team of circa 20 in total in the finance team. The team itself is very capable and talented and we are looking for someone to continue to grow and develop the people in it. People leadership and the development of people are extremely important to this company.

The role reports into the CEO for the company and they are looking for a trusted partner to drive the finance function forward as well as embrace technology and automation to deliver a best-in-class finance function. The CEO is a fantastic and genuine people leader who is building an amazing culture for the company. The CEO will give you the autonomy to run and drive your function forward. They are also looking for someone to add real value at the leadership table and contribute to the business’ success moving forward. The role forms a crucial part of the New Zealand Leadership Team and is critical to the continued success of the business.
