As the **Maintenance Technician**, you will be assisting in maintaining the building, plant, equipment, fixtures, and fittings in addition to safeguarding the asset to guarantee that it continues to be a safe, functional, and enjoyable space for all guests and other team members. You'll also make sure that all refrigeration and air conditioning equipment complies with regulations and is safe to use.
- Evaluating, repairing, and maintaining plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems in the building.
- Conduct daily plant rounds, identifying and noting any equipment that may seem or sound faulty for prompt repair.
- Perform maintenance on mechanical equipment and water reticulation to ensure optimal availability and reliability.
- Execute scheduled maintenance tasks outlined by the Hotels' Property Management System (PMS).
- Maintain accurate records of plant and equipment repairs and maintenance.

**Qualifications**
You will be:

- A hands-on, self-sufficient individual who takes pride in their work and able to work both unsupervised and in a team environment
- Previous experience working on the maintenance of hotel fixtures, fixed plant and equipment systems
- Knowledge of maintenance strategies
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated person who takes a proactive approach to work and is punctual and reliable
- Ability to accommodate flexibility with shifts.
