About the role

An exciting opportunity now exists for a Finance Administrator in our Wellington offices looking after the central region (Wellington to Palmerston North). We want to hear from you if you are looking to join a team of go-getters on an on-going quest for continuous improvement. As the Finance Administrator, you will establish and maintain a trusting partnership with business unit(s) and operational staff. You will ensure timely and accurate records are kept and financial information is processed within the given timeframe. You will manage stakeholder relationship across numerous teams and will play a pivotal role in ensuring deadlines are met and all contracts are running flawlessly.

**Responsibilities**:
Your responsibilities will include ( but not limited to)
- Managing and processing invoices, payments, and receipts
- Payroll duties
- weekly, fortnightly, and monthly as well as reconciliations of accounts
- Maintenance of accurate and up to day records and financial transactions including recording of plant timesheets
- Goods receipting and supporting the payment of Suppliers invoices
- Purchase order generation and, maintenance of an updated report
- Maintaining goods /invoice receipt well as maintenance of Vendor invoice management (VIM)
- Ad hoc tasks to add additional value and to assist the team

About you

Highly motivated you have demonstrable experience in a similar role with a large complex business. You are a results-oriented individual who prioritises their workflow and manages their time effectively to ensure results are delivered on an on-going basis. Your ability to work effectively in a sole environment (unsupervised and independently) in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders will ensure your success in this role. You communication skills and problem-solving skills are second to none. Attention to detail is one of your strong points. Your technical skills coupled with your ability to multi-task will ensure your success in this role. You will have sound MS Excel and Word skills.
