The Customer Service Officer is a fast-paced, frontline role which is vital to our business. IR does so much more than just collect taxes - we fund and deliver programmes which support and care for the people of New Zealand. What's more, a career with us does not necessarily mean a career in numbers and taxes - you’ll be bringing your customer centric approach to improve customer experience.
Day-to-day, your tasks might include responding to customers, coming up with solutions, and calculating options when communicating a plan.

We have two different working options:
Greymouth, Whangarei, Hamilton and Napier, the standard number of hours of work for full time employees will be 75 hours 50 minutes per fortnight, to be worked between 8am and 6.15pm, Monday to Friday, and 8.00am to 5:05pm on Saturdays. These are set by roster and based on business needs. This salary for this position is $59,560 per annum.
