Our Central Operation covers Whanganui, Taumarunui, Ohakhune, Taupo, and Waipa with a few services based out of Te Kuiti and Tokoroa. Due to the large area of this business, there is flexibility on where you will be based.

The business covers school, charter, tours and public transport services and some of our key clients include the Ministry of Education, Waikato and Horizons Regional Council, schools.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Overall leadership of our Central operation, ensuring safe and reliable delivery of service,
- Operational planning and development of people, resources & fleet requirements.
- Drive client and stakeholder engagement within tourism and transport sector,
- Manage the financial and KPI performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Foster a positive, proactive H&S culture, whilst ensuring compliance with policies and legislation.

**To be successful you should have**:

- Proven experience leading an operations team, - lead from the front.
- Effective communication and capable of building on a strong culture,
- Exceptional interpersonal, networking and communication skills,
- Strong financial and commercial acumen,
- Motivation to deliver exceptional customer service,
- Ability to work autonomous,
- An ability to work strategically, analyse and continuously seek to improve operations,
- A clean full licence for 2 years+, with the ability to gain a Passenger Endorsement,
- Previous experience within the tourism / transport industry would be an advantage,
