This is a full time position of 40 hours per week
The remuneration range for this role is 136,327 to $192,461 (including KiwiSaver),ideally looking to recruit between $136,327 to $160,384 depending on skills and experience
**The opportunity**

With your strong team leadership skills, you will help staff strive for excellence and foster an organisational culture based on collaboration, innovation, learning and high performance.
You will get to:
- Lead the preparation of 3 year rolling tactical plans
- Lead cross-organisational collaboration with stakeholders and partners
- Lead the team to prepare and issue written investment advice for our client Council annual and long term plans
- Use planning processes and tools (investment register and investment workflow) to enable the consistent collation and prioritisation of investment advice
- Influence internal and external decision makers
**About you**
To be successful in this role you will bring:
- Proven experience of working in a collective and collaborative leadership environment
- A tertiary qualification in strategic or business planning, infrastructure development, economics, engineering, asset management or associated similar discipline
- Demonstrated experience in clearly conveying written and financial information and ideas to suit the audience.
- An understanding of the nuances in the political operating environment that Wellington Water operates in
- The ability to make decisions and set direction with incomplete information
