We have a great opportunity for you to join our team as a Hepatitis C Kaiawhina supporting the operations of our mobile hepatitis C service throughout the central region.

The mobile hepatitis C service is an exciting new initiative which is focused on reducing barriers to accessing testing and treatment for hepatitis C by bringing its services directly into the communities that need it most.

**Key aspects of the role**:

- Support the Hepatitis C nurses with facilitating community clinics/ events throughout the central region
- Attend events with the mobile hepatitis C team
- Assisting with hepatitis C point-of-care testing
- Engagement with stakeholders to organise clinic events
- Working in partnership with individuals, family/whanau, health care providers and workplaces
- Engaging with the local community to promote the service
- Management of mobile clinic calendar; ensuring regular events are booked in advance
- Entering screening results
- Restocking and ordering of consumables for the mobile service

**You will have**:

- Relevant lived experience and/or qualification in a health science related field
- Flexible self-starter and able to work under pressure
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and proven success in developing and maintaining relationships
- High level of decision-making ability and use of initiative
- Ability to work with people from a variety of cultural life experiences and views
- Conflict resolution ability and dealing with challenging situations
- A current clean full driver's licence
