This exciting role will be busy, challenging and we can promise no two days will be the same.

In this role you will:

- deliver first class assistance with the management of all electronic and paper records
- provide slick and seamless behind-the-scenes records and information management support for our staff across Council
- exceed expectations with daily scanning tasks that are accurate and timely
- promote best practice document and records management practices
- physically retrieve of stored hard copies of files as required
- help out with other ad-hoc tasks that will come across your desk.

It would be fabulous if you have experience working in a central or local government information management environment.You’ll need to show us that you:

- have some understanding of records and information management and the Public Records Act
- are confident interacting with anyone, being across every detail and prioritising with ease
- are technically savvy and have the ability to learn new software and systems
- are someone who naturally takes ownership of your own workload and huge pride in your work
- are comfortable thinking on your feet and dealing with a wide scope of tasks
- understand the importance of going the extra mile and being approachable
- have the ability to meeting the physical demand of this role
