Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity' It's an exciting time to be joining NZTA | Waka Kotahi, a refreshed strategy with a real focus on our people means we are recruiting to support that direction.The Senior People Analyst is a technical expert in People data and technology, responsible for taking a leading role in creating a better experience for our people and workforce by maintaining our people platform Puna Koi. You will specialist in:

- Functional Configuration Analysis: Configuration (Business Processes, Org structure, security roles)
- Reporting & Data Analysis: including metrics and dashboards, mass data requests, mass data changes

We are looking for someone who has previous experience in a similar role that can bring their expertise to the team. You will have the opportunity to make this role your own and create a road map for our people data and reporting strategy.Ko koe tēnei | About you'To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- Five or more years' experience in people analytics, information management, information design, HCM functional configuration, or similar
- A deep technical knowledge and experience in conducting complex analysis using multiple data sources and a passion for attention to detail
- Passionate about continuous improvement with a strong desire to continue learning in order to stay relevant to business changes and industry trends

**Qualifications**:

- Ideally, Workday Pro certification for functional configuration in appropriate areas, or appropriate experience in the configuration of the Workday platform or equivalent
- You will demonstrate knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an understanding of Te Ao Māori and promote tikanga and Te Reo Māori. You will also have knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an appreciation of Te Tiriti o Waitangi (the Treaty of Waitangi) as it applies in the public sector.
