**Senior Nursing Leadership Pathway Opportunity**

- Predominantly a Monday to Friday role with a need to be flexible to meet patient needs
- Based at Te Toka Tumai Auckland Hospital and some time required at Greenlane Clinical Centre
- Understands and supports the pursuit of Māori health gain as well as achieving equitable health outcomes for Māori through the expression of hauora Māori models of care and Mātauranga Māori
- Post graduate qualifications preferable
- A minimum of 3 years nursing experience preferred with demonstrated leadership
- This role has reporting lines to both the Māori Health Lead and Nurse Unit Manager Urology

The Urology Service at Health New Zealand sees a wide range of patients who are admitted for interventional and diagnostic procedures.
This is a fast paced 24 in-patient bed ward, where a rewarding dimension of your role is to establish and develop therapeutic relationships with your patients. As a Nurse Specilist you will be joining a dedicated team who are proud to be caring for these patients through their journey.

As a Māori Health Nurse Specialist Urology, you will be able to demonstrate expert knowledge in Tikanga Māori, advanced clinical skills, and be an excellent communicator and team member. You will be accountable for care delivery and coordination for Urology tāngata māuiui and will work in collaboration with other Nurse Specialists and multidisciplinary team members across the continuum of care. You will be on a Nurse Specialist pathway. Key to your success will be alignment with our values here at Te Toka Tumai and have a good understanding of our Directorate’s commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi obligations.
