**What will you be doing?**

We are looking for a **Head of Assessing, Investigations & Supply Chain** to join our Claims Senior Leadership Team.

Reporting to the Chief Claims Officer, you will lead the function to deliver world-class capability and excellence across our assessing, investigations and supply chain for Tower in NZ and the Pacific. You will be responsible for Tower's claims cost spend through partnerships of assessing, investigative services, panel networks and non-panel networks ensuring we can leverage scale of >$100million.

You can expect to be involved across a variety of areas including:

- Responsible for the development, and management of the assessing and fraud operations for claims
- Leveraging strong negotiation of Tower's scale with innovative journeys through partners for the highest industry service and quality at the lowest cost
- Ownership of claims partnerships relationships and performance management of their agreements
- Attracting, leading, and building world class talent within the business; inspire people to perform at a higher level by leading by example
- Implementing a framework ensuring file reviews are frequent to ensure real estimates are updated timely mitigating any adverse trends in claims reserves
- Effectively managing risk within appetite taking into consideration role relevant elements, including data quality, operational losses, incident management, compliance within policies and delegated authorities

**What you'll need**

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have 8+ years' experience at a leadership level in the Insurance Claims industry, leading a Claims Assessing or Supply Chain function. You will be experienced in any claims value chain function where policy interpretation, technical claims experience, IFSO and complaint management experience was required.

You will have excellent relationship management and communication skills to collaborate with and influence internal and external stakeholders and partners. A proven track record of agile thinking, challenging the status quo, and creating and delivering innovative solutions is also key. You will have exceptional leadership capability to inspire and lead a high achieving team to deliver results.
