Southern Cross is a very diverse venue that caters to multiple aspects of hospitality. The venue is a well-established part of Wellington history that has been around for decades and has an outstanding reputation for a great place to hang out. Relax, wine, dine, dance or enjoy a coffee in the restaurant, bar or garden area - The Cross truly has something for everyone

This is a part-time position and you will need to be flexible to work on a rotating roster across 7 days a week.

We are looking for applicants who are confident in customer service and enjoy creating a great experience from the get go. Due to the nature of hospitality, our Front of House superstars are the first faces that our loyal customers see, which in turn makes you the face of Kāpura. Naturally, you need more than just a smile...

- You will have a passion and desire to surprise and delight everyone that walks into the venue
- You understand the difference between “customer service” and creating a fantastic “customer experience” - creating the feeling of manaakitanga in the venue, with customers and with your team
- You will be energetic and enthusiastic with great communication skills
- You will be able to shift gears as required and be able to relax and roll with change & pressure
- You are going to be a team player with the ability to build great relationships with customers and team members
