We are needing a **Junior Security Technician **to join our team in **Lower Hutt **

**What you will do**:

- The role involves all facets of high-level electronic CCTV, Access Control (ACS) and Intruder Detection (IDS) system installation, commissioning, preventative maintenance and fault finding for large commercial and government clients

**How you will do it**:

- Installation of CCTV, access, intruder and intercom systems and networks
- Fault finding of security infrastructure
- Commissioning of security systems
- Preventative maintenance of security infrastructure
- Software installation
- Installation, Maintenance and Service of security hardware
- Ensuring that the company’s business is carried out in a timely manner and engaging suppliers to the same end
- As a junior role, you will bring your entry level technical trade skills to the position and work alongside senior technicians and engineers to upskill and develop your own skills as a specialist Security Technician
- Providing H&S support in all aspects of the security delivery operation
- Working alongside the logistics team to support critical equipment rollouts to high priority clients, and other duties as required to enable the smooth running of the operation
- These duties may grow and develop as the role changes over time but will form the core of the Junior Security Technician workload

- Electrical, IT or other related industry training or qualification
- NZCE Electronics
- Bachelor of Engineering
- Ability to obtain NZ Government National Security Clearance
- Current COA
- Willingness to learn
- Access certification
- CCTV certification
- Electronics and Electrical background
- Visio
- IT FIBRE AND SECURITY Networking skills
- BVMS certified
- Network Engineer certification
- Milestone experience
- Bosch experience
- Cardax experience
- Jacques/intercom experience
- Clean record - no criminal convictions
