You will organize and control the operations of the motels to provide guest accommodation, and managing all other day to day activities to ensure the smooth and profitable running of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage motel daily activities, reception and housekeeping, organize the staff shift an roster
- Directing and overseeing reservation, reception area
- Manage and advertising for new staff and provide train both for reception and housekeeping
- Ensure rooms and motels are cleaned and maintained by the housekeeping team to the standard defined
- Organize and control the work of organization which provide accommodation and services to customers
- Assist General Manager/Senior Management with tasks related to motel operations
- Ensure guests have an exceptional experience when dealing with the business, this means responding to queries in a professional and timely manner
- Assess and review customer satisfaction and monitor guest feedback on OTA's etc.
- Ensuring room allocations and inventory are accurately maintained to maximize bookings, liaising with guests and handling complaints, performing check-ins and check-outs
- Develop and ensure profitable revenue for the business, including maximizing margins, providing feedback and solutions on monthly results, wage costs, cost of sales, placing orders, tracking inventory.
- Overseeing accounting and purchasing activities
- Promote and sell accommodation and service to customer, according to practical situation to monitor and adjust room rate, increasing profit and maximize the benefit
- Ensuring all charges are collected and reservations administered, auditing all revenue and charges, managing accounts
- Collaborate with external parties such as suppliers, travel agents, group bookings and Internet profiling.
- Ensure the accommodation units are maintained to a high standard by completing room checks and ensuring maintenance activities are actioned.
- May provide guests with local tourism information and arrange transportation
- Audits on par stock on all areas to make sure that all required motel supplies are ordered and stocked in advance of need
- Ensure effective, timely and accurate communications flow about Motel policies and procedures
- Supervise and manage all maintenance contacts such as electricians, plumber and IT technician
- Supervising security arrangements, and garden and property maintenance
- Follow the safe regulation and policies to make security arrangement, protect employers and motel properties. Familiar with the master for security system and alarm like fire alarm
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $23.50 - $25.00 per hour
