**Description**

General information:The employee aims to effectively and efficiently deliver customer orders on time by managing the order process from customer PO to invoicing, source factory procurement, logistics supervision, and warehouse inventory management. Builds long term customer and internal relationships, and provides timely quality responses to specific customer needs and issues. Achieves these outcomes with an attention to detail, learns new skills, manages multiple priorities, is decisive, and facilitates quality on-time performance, while complies with Hitachi Energy health, safety, and environment procedures and practices. Responsibilities:Order Management: Responsible for managing customer purchase orders from entry (via SAP ERP system) to invoicing and everything in between to ensure timely delivery of our obligations, including drafting of monthly delivery reports for customers. Factory Procurement and Logistics: Works closely with Hitachi Energy factories to source equipment ordered by customers, and tracks/supervisors international logistics to meet our delivery lead time obligations. Local Inventory Management: Manages local warehouse inventory of popular Hitachi Energy product by forecasting, ordering, packing, and dispatching of these small goods to New Zealand customers via courier for a quick turnaround to meet customer needs. Customer Relationships and Quality: Proactively builds and maintains customer relationships by communicating in a timely and positive manner, continually seeking to improve internal processes and outcomes for customers and identifying customer concerns/issues early and resolving these with the use of Hitachi Energy internal tools (e.g. CCRP). Processes and Data: Assists in developing and improving internal processes and systems, including maintenance of master data. Health, Safety, and Environment: Ensure safe working procedures and practices are followed at all times including the wearing and maintenance of assigned Personal Protective Equipment; attendance at required health, safety and environment training; report injury, incidents, hazards and near miss events. Model safe work behaviors in all aspects of work and actively identify hazards and risk controls. Other: The above list is not exhaustive, therefore other reasonable duties and responsibilities maybe delegated by their manager. Your background:3+ years experience in customer relationship management and working with freight forwarders/contractors. 3+ years experience with transacting business activities (especially accounts payable and receivable processes) using an enterprise management system such as SAP. 5+ years of business experience in a manufacturing sector. Demonstrates an attention to detail, flexible to learn new skills, capable of managing multiple priorities, decisive and facilitates quality on-time performance. High level of Microsoft Office literacy (e.g. excel, word, PowerPoint). Effective written and oral communication. Maintains a current, full NZ driver's license. Degree or diploma in commercial / business administration or equivalent is preferred, but not essential.
