In the Corporate Analytics Centre of Excellence, we focus on finding innovative ways to help our organisation ensure that Aucklanders have easy and safe journeys. We are on the hunt for a Senior BI Analyst to join our team You will be responsible for identifying, designing, and facilitating high quality information services that integrate Auckland Transport's systems to fully satisfy customer needs. You will ensure the on-going development of "whole picture" information systems to support organisational and customer needs.

You will also responsible for understanding and documenting current processes, identifying process improvements, documenting business requirements, and ensuring that those requirements are translated in the delivery of effective business solutions.

First and foremost you will be inquisitive, curious, have a willingness to learn, and take pride in delivering high quality outcomes that keep Auckland City moving forward. You will have a passion for working with data to support the delivery of enterprise wide BI and Analytic solutions.

If you have one or more of these key skills we'd like to talk with you:

- At least 7 years of BI development related experience
- Knowledge of Power BI tools and methodologies, including designing, creating and deploying reports, dashboards and models.
- Proven experience with technical requirements analysis, business process modelling/mapping, methodology development, and data modelling
- Some knowledge of BI or data warehouse principles and methodologies would be an advantage
- Some knowledge of data warehouse toolsets, preferably Business Objects, SQL Server or WhereScape RED would be advantageous
- Experience documenting BI designs
- Proven track record of successfully delivering large scale enterprise BI solutions
