The role:
The Spare parts supervisor is responsible for the safe and efficient receipt, storage, and despatch of Spare Parts. Supporting the Distribution Centre (DC) manager, this role drives continuous process improvement approach and a strong health and safety culture.

The role has oversight to the warehouse and distribution operation scorecard ensuring the efficient and cost-effective management of goods. We handle high value; prestige appliances and this role is a key part in continuing our reputation as a prestige brand by ensuring product arrives with our customers in perfect condition

- As the Supervisor (approx. 14 direct reports) you will lead and motivate a strong team within our Distribution Centre.

Key responsibilities:

- Warehouse operations- Responsible for the adherence of global logistics policies and strategies at a warehouse level & ensuring staff are trained in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)-
- Responsible for the security of stock and assets by ensuring adherence to and monitoring security procedures and protocols-
- Responsible for ensuring the delivery of correct training and product handling practices to ensure product damage is below acceptable limit-
- Ensure warehouse 5s standards are adhered to and implemented within the warehouse, and performs warehouse audits and inspections ensuring 5s standards, operational and H&S controls are in place and adhered to-
- Invoice and spend management and approval.- 3PL performance management- Responsible for the operational and day-to-day management of 3PL’s, including domestic freight and FCL cartage-
- Support the DC manager with monthly performance meetings with 3PL’s, manage their performance and identify areas for improvement and future optimisation opportunities.- Health & Safety- Demonstrates positive and visible H&S leadership behaviour and leads by example-
- Accurately and promptly record incidents, near misses, or inventory issues that pose a health & safety concern and assist in investigations to prevent reoccurrence as required.- To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have experience working for a multinational business. Logistics, 3PL, Warehousing experience is essential-
- Have demonstrated leadership ability to develop the right internal culture-
