**Tasks you may carry out**:

- Travel and visit our clients properties, measure, and cut carpets
- Know how to draw and read a housing plan and work out the meters of the carpet
- Occasionally move furniture, uplift and dispose of existing carpet, underlay, etc.
- May require completing floor preparation before laying
- Good skills with handling various carpet installation tools, joining and seaming edges using tape and carpet iron
- Vacuum and remove all the rubbish before leaving the site
- Follow all Health and Safety procedures and all company procedures.

**To be successful you will need**:

- Quality workmanship and eye for detail
- Strong Ability to work independently and solve problems practically
- Be a good team player and follow instructions
- Be physically fit and willingness to handle heavy workload
- Regular and reliable attendance to work
- Commitment to health and workplace safety guidelines
- No criminal records
- Must pass drug test

Triple A Flooring is Hamilton based flooring business. Due to the expansion of the business, we have multiple positions available to be filled for Carpet Layer. You will need to work minimum of 30 hours each week.
