Full Job Description
- These kind of roles are a rare occurrence and even more so in a well-established successful commercial main contractor.
- Our client is looking to bring in an architectural technician to support the Design Manager through the pre-construction & design phase, mainly on interior fit out phase commercial projects.
- This is a good opportunity for a technician or draftsperson to stamp their own personality on the role and progress their career at the coal face of the industry.
- Essential Qualifications and skills would be:
- Excellent verbal, written and graphical communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Collaborative nature and approach to design
- Good knowledge and understanding of the technical aspects of materials, fittings, furniture, and finishes.
- Some years of NZ post graduate experience

ArchiCad or Revit & documentation experience highly desirable.
- To be considered for this position you will be experienced in some form of draughting software, preferably archiCAD, coupled with Architectural quals and ideally previous experience in commercial fit out projects. Recent experience within the NZ construction scene will set you apart from the rest; likewise, being able to communicate with a range of people will be important.
