Auckland Council is on a continued and significant transformation journey and as a result, has grown to become one of the largest Information Communications and Technology Services (ICT) capabilities in New Zealand. This presents a unique opportunity for an experienced ICT professional to come and join us in this exciting complex and energized environment in a fixed-term role.

In this role you can act as the technical expert for support needs but also as a product consultant, finding new and innovative ways to improve business systems and processes using our technologies.

Finally, you will be able to create a coherent linkage with Auckland Councils overall work programmed to achieve Māori outcomes.

Some of the key tasks will include, but are not limited to:

- Develop and maintain training manuals and user guides,
- Troubleshooting and resolving user issues, and help deliver out of the box web functionalities using Microsoft Office365 Applications i.e., SharePoint Online
- Liaising with software developers and wider ICT teams,
- Assisting with the high-level administration of core systems.

**He kōrero mōu: About you**

You have at least 7+ years of experience of broad experience in ICT, along with some hands-on exposure in leading and supporting small to large complex projects.

Your high-level knowledge in the change management process (ITIL or Agile), combined with your strong skills in Microsoft 365 apps, and SharePoint Online administration will contribute to your success in the role.
