**About the role**

With Auckland’s current housing shortage, subdivisions are a big part of the answer - enabling more homes to be built - on land that’s better prepared for housing than ever before.

Supervise and leading a team of surveyors to foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture, by providing expertise, mentorship and guidance.

Manage the creation of survey plans, establish the scope, define objectives, and identify the necessary methods for precise data collection.

**About you**
- Proven leadership experience in a surveying environment
- Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying or related field (preferred not essential)
- Experience in modern survey instruments including total stations, GPS, data modelling and manipulation through a survey CAD package
- Good understanding of providing survey functions for civil and construction works, including earthworks, drainage, roading, retaining structures, utilities and all other Civil features
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
