**Role description**:
The Fitter Turner / Machinist role involves operating machine shop equipment to manufacture and service hydraulic components. This includes dismantling, diagnosing, repairing, assembling, and performing performance tests on cylinders and valves. Adherence to workplace safety policies, maintenance of operating procedures, and support of other staff are key responsibilities. Embracing the company's Core Values and Brand Promise is essential.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Operate manual lathes, milling machines, grinders, and drills to manufacture and service hydraulic components
- Dismantle, diagnose, repair, assemble, and perform performance tests on cylinders and valves
- Adhere to Workplace Health & Safety policies and maintain all company operating procedures and quality performance standards
- Provide support and training to other staff members as required

**This role will suit someone with all or some following background/experience/qualities**:

- Trade qualified with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar industry, preferably with previous hydraulic cylinder machining experience
- Proven competency in operating manual lathes, milling machines, grinders, and drills
- Strong communication skills in written and verbal English
