Based in our National Office, the Advisor is responsible for providing high calibre, intelligent support to the Manager, Iwi Engagement & Operational Support. As part of this support to the Manager, they will engage in peer review and quality assurance checks of a range of documents, coordinate and draft reporting in a timely manner, develop and maintain information flows and processes, and work collaboratively with kaimahi across the Regional Partnerships and Operations Puni.

**Ko wai koe | About you**

To be successful you will have:

- Understanding of the government and the public service and public sector processes.
- Ability to identify, build and actively manage significant relationships, valuing diverse perspectives and experiences.
- Commercial and financial expertise or programme and investment management experience.
- Conceptual and analytical skills and experience in developing and implementing workable solutions to ambiguous and complex problems.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills which enable the person involved to produce documents which explain in person, complex issues to key stakeholders and other audiences including non-technical experts.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Risk identification and management.
- Strong process administration and monitoring skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.

Preferred:

- A relevant tertiary qualification.
