**About the Role | Mō te Tūranga**

Sitting within our wider Commercial team, you will be responsible for leading the end to end 3-5 year strategy for the Impulse Liquor & Beverages division, here at Woolworths NZ. Guiding and supporting a team of Merchandising professionals, you will play an active role in prioritising initiatives and resources, with a focus on delivering to both current and future business needs. This is a senior role that will see you take full accountability for the delivery of portfolio results across your team.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Set and lead the delivery of the overall strategic direction for the Impulse Liquor and Beverages portfolio to maximise sales, profit, customer satisfaction and optimise inventory
- Drive long term strategies for portfolio, considering forward looking view of product trends, availability, and customer preferences
- Deliver on financial targets (capex, opex, sales) in line with budget
- Build and leverage deep working relationships with Buying team, Marketing, Operations, Logistics & Finance to ensure models are in place to deliver customer and financial outcomes
- Embed customer insights into the commercial operation to drive VOC & VOS NPS
- Develop and coach the next generation of leaders

**About You | Mōu**

With deep experience in the Commercial/ Merchandising landscape, you will be proven in leading a large business from a P&L standpoint, whilst also displaying proven experience in driving strong partnerships across supplier bases. As a leader of high performing teams, you will understand the drivers and changes necessary to drive performance/initiatives, while at the same time, developing positive internal relationships with both your direct reports, as well as internal and external stakeholders. This is a unique role that will suit someone comfortable with driving innovation and change.
