**Mō te tūnga | About the role**

This Employment Agreement Implementation Manager role is part of the HR Shared Service’s Leadership team would involve implementing and monitoring Collective Employment Agreements (CEA), Individual Employment Agreements (IEA) and Derived Employment Agreement (DEA). In this role you will be responsible for leading work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the payroll systems and data are aligned to the Employment Agreements’ terms and conditions and that employees receive the right pay rates. As part of this, you will be required to lead planning activity, monitor results and facilitate post-implementation reviews.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is very familiar and experienced in engaging with Unions and working with a variety of different employment agreements. This is a newly created position and would be ideal for someone who is able to drive and plan work packages and projects, has strong people skills and has an eye for process improvement.

**Key responsibilities of this role include**:

- Ensuring employment agreements are successfully implemented
- Providing leadership, development and coaching to kaimahi (staff)
- Working collaboratively with key stakeholders to build a roadmap for future implementations
- Leading end-to-end implementation activity across multiple teams
- Driving quality plans and ensuring accurate union memberships records and data reviews
- Communicating and responding to entitlement enquires
- Embedding a customer centric implementation approach

To be successful in this role, we are looking for a leader that is able to drive performance at an individual and team level. In addition, this role would suit someone who is able to engage with others, manage relationships and is adaptable and resilient.

Your skills will include:

- Experience in leading employment agreement implementations, payroll, HR or employment relations in a large, complex service driven environment
- Understanding of the Holidays Act 2003, Parental Leave Act, Kiwisaver Act and Wages Protection Act
- Communication and interpersonal skills to handle sensitive conversations and facilitation sessions
- Analytical, strategic and critical thinking skills
- A relevant tertiary qualification in business, HR or related discipline
- Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- A background in the Health Industry would be advantageous
