As custodian to some of the most iconic venues in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland including The Civic, Aotea Centre, Auckland Town Hall, Bruce Mason Centre, Queens Wharf and Aotea Square, Auckland Live is the home of performing arts and entertainment in Auckland. **He angitūtanga: The opportunity**:
As a Creative Producer within the Performing Arts team, you will be at the centre of the action, working with colleagues right across Auckland Live to conceive, create, scope, develop and deliver a diverse range of performing arts projects. If you are the kind of person who thrives on identifying and delivering exceptional creative opportunities, who enjoys the challenge of having multiple projects on the go and who can keep their cool under pressure, then we would love to hear from you.

Key responsibilities include:

- Identification of creative opportunities to engage artists, organisations and presenting companies working in the performing arts
- Exploration of ways to build audiences, create revenue generation activities and increase venue utilisation while delivering strong advocacy outcomes for the performing arts, our venues and our partners
- Research and development and reporting to support deeper understanding of the outcomes from our invested events for the organisation, our partners and to feed into broader industry trends
- Scoping, research and budgeting investment opportunities for new initiatives
- Financial Management and reporting
- Leadership that exhibits best practice in producing within the performing arts
- A strong positive focus on stakeholder engagement and management

The successful applicant will have strong knowledge of the creative sector within Aotearoa, and experience in the development and delivery of performing arts projects.
