**Strategy Manager - Auckland based**

**About the role**

Reporting to the Head of Strategy & Innovation, you will join a small team that works with leaders across the organisation delivering strategic projects that grow the business and enhance performance. You will also support the annual strategic planning process and evaluate M&A and other business opportunities.

**What you will be doing**
- Lead projects developing strategies to grow the business in line with Sime Darby objectives.
- Provide strategic and commercial analysis on opportunities, initiatives, investments, partnerships, and acquisitions.
- Prepare financial models and valuation analysis for key investments, including M&A.

**What will set you apart**
- A relevant tertiary qualification, and at least 3-4 years' experience in management consulting, corporate finance, or investment banking.
- Strong understanding of financial modelling techniques and practise.
- Strong commercial acumen, analytical mindset, and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage projects and virtual project teams.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Open to learning and using new techniques, tools, and technologies.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity, complexity, and change.
