**About the role**

As a New World Business Partner you’ll be part of a future focused Retail team responsible for leading and executing the strategic plan to empower a high performing culture and build capability. As s coach and trusted business partner, you’ll proactively identify solutions that enable positive business outcomes and ensure a sustainable, growing, integrated and world-class retail function that delivers sales and market share targets.

To achieve this you’ll:

- Ensure that New World members are in tune with Foodstuffs North Islands strategic plan and are aligned with the agreed operational strategies and trading agreements
- Support the New World Banner team with individual planning and store needs, including development of the Store Business Plan in conjunction with the Owner Operator
- Collaborate with other centre teams on key pieces of work, and champion our customers, policies, and processes appropriately
- Ensure the category review process and compulsory displays are implemented in store for our customers and manage compliance thereafter
- Challenge and influence our processes to reduce the cost of doing business, while championing and protecting our customers shopping experience

**About you**

You’ll have proven, credible retail floor nous and remarkable retailing skills gained across medium to large format enterprises. You’ll also be strong in maintaining effective relationships and influencing key stakeholders. With a collaborative coaching style, you’ll be comfortable working in store and within the banner team.

In addition, you’ll:

- Have a strong commercial understanding with a track record of sound decision making.
- Have excellent planning and communication skills - both written and verbal, and clearly articulate ideas and concepts.
- Be a doer, who is flexible and adaptable and have the ability to reset as required.
- Be customer driven and results focussed.
