Are you the Senior Advisor we are looking for? We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a keen passion for problem solving, managing relationships, and navigating unique situations. The Senior Advisor plays an important role in enabling MBIE’s leadership teams to grow New Zealand for all. The Senior Advisor will be responsible for leading initiatives and engagement to inform the strategic direction and operations of the Digital, Data and Insights (DDI) Group within MBIE. **Tēnei tūranga - About the Role**:
Reporting to the Manager, Group Planning and Performance. The Senior Advisor will work across the organization to successfully implement best practice frameworks, provide quality advice and key insights.

Bring your understanding of business operations, your relationship management skills, and your individual perspective to work across Digital Data and Insights (DDI) and MBIE

If you are a highly motivated individual ready to make a difference, we want to hear from you Ideally, you will have the following:

- Experience in business management functions, including business planning, performance reporting frameworks and business continuity planning processes
- Exposure or experience to continual improvement methodologies, practices and behaviours
- A strong understanding of the processes that underpin the operations of the public sector environment, including parliamentary processes, and machinery of government
- Excellent relationship management and networking skills
- Actively demonstrates listening, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Able to quickly assimilate new information, and understand unfamiliar and complex issues
- Commitment to working as part of a supportive team
- Must have the legal right to live and work in New Zealand
