We are seeking an experienced Senior Advisor to join our Operations Support team within National Service Delivery to provide high quality support services and lead process improvement initiatives.

As a Senior Advisor, you will provide high-level advice regarding preparation of briefings and official correspondence, such as Official Information Act requests, Parliamentary questions, and briefings for incoming ministers, as well as providing guidance on complex issues to Advisors and team members.

You will also deliver a variety of reporting and business planning initiatives; provide day-to-day support for frontline employees; lead and contribute to projects where you analyse problems, evaluate options and design fit for purpose solutions.

***The successful applicant will be able to think outside the box and be able to understand and interpret data and documentation to determine a way forward through the project lifecycle.

The role requires a high level of verbal and written communication with strong stakeholder management skills. The successful applicant will have opportunities to demonstrate and develop project management, workshop facilitation, and change management skills.

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Demonstrated high quality support and research approaches for delivery of official correspondence and reporting
- Proven experience in supporting team members to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proficiency in qualitative and quantitative analysis
- Experience providing service improvement advice in complex customer centred organisation
- Effective delivery of projects, including the ability to define a business problem, plan and deliver an effective solution
- Excellent stakeholder management skills - able to prioritize requests across functions, able to manage stakeholders' expectations confidently and collaboratively, and build close relationships
- An understanding and appreciation of cross-cultural issues and concerns, knowledge of tikanga Māori, and Pacific peoples' culture
- A good understanding of, or experience working in the justice sector

**Utu ā-tau/**Salary**

***Salary Range: The appointing salary for this role will be between $90,377 and $127,591 based on skills and experience.
