Canterbury Southern Community Laboratories, a division of Asia Pacific Healthcare Group (APHG), has proudly provided pathology services to New Zealanders since 1960. We operate medical laboratories throughout the country. Pathology is the study of disease, and staff who work for our laboratory range from those who collect blood and/or samples from patients at our collection centres to those who analyse the samples in the laboratory.

**_ About the Role_**
- Casual Work Monday to Friday.
- Participation in the weekend roster (paid at T1.5 and T2 rates).
- The key tasks include Pathology sample collection, and prepare specimens for transportation, maintaining cleanliness of collection centre and order supplies.
- Working from Collection Centres across the Canterbury region, home visits and rest homes.
- Provide exceptional customer service, with a warm and friendly attitude.

**_To succeed in this role, you will need:_**
- Experience and/or a qualification in the relevant field is preferred, but not essential.
- A positive and friendly approach to your work
- Compassion for others, including a real desire to provide high quality care to a wide variety of patients of all ages and circumstances
- Excellent customer service skills including a high level of personal presentation
- Strong attention to detail and an ability to follow processes accurately, even when under pressure
- Respect for ensuring patient confidentiality at all times and in all matters
- A clean Full New Zealand Driver’s Licence
- Eligibility to work in New Zealand
