**Patient Safety and Quality Lead**

**Fixed term/Secondment 3 Months**

**64 hours per fortnight (0.8FTE)**

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced clinician to join the Patient Safety and Quality Team at Te Whatu Ora Hawke’s Bay for an initial fixed term/secondment of initially three months.

The **_Patient Safety and Quality Team_** is re-establishing itself to ensure it is responsive and provides a quality service to business partners as they strive to improve patient outcomes and embed a culture where patient safety and quality are fundamental pillars to success.

A sound knowledge of clinical governance and improvement methodology will enable the Patient Safety and Quality Lead to effectively drive, navigate, and build capability and capacity within Group Leadership teams to support them to deliver on key quality and patient safety workstreams.

If you have the ability to move ideas to action, act as the critical friend and bring people together through exceptional communication skills and strong leadership, this role may be for you.
