Logan Potts and Associates was started in 2007. Initially, the company was focused on the repair and maintenance of packaging machinery. We have continued down this line of work but now offer a wider range of services in various industries, including design and manufacture of machinery, modifications to existing machines and manufacturing of replacement parts, relocation and commissioning of machinery.

**About the role**:
Our ethos is to partner with our clients to handle their mechanical requirements to keep their businesses running, and we are in a time of growth where we need another safe pair of hands to join the team.

On a day-to-day basis, you will be kept busy doing:

- Repairs to industrial machinery
- Machining
- CAD drawings and design
- Learning to use our waterjet cutting machine, mill & lathe
- Welding and fabrication
- Working alongside our owners to perform maintenance, make modification and help with the relocating, installation and commissioning of new and existing machinery to our client sites

**About you**:
We envisage that you will join us from a mechanical engineering, CAD design, fitting and or machining background, with a mechanical mind and a willingness to get stuck in no matter the task at hand.

Your mechanical mind will help you to scope, design, and deliver the services that we have become known for across our clients.

Other jobs which you may have performed previously, that will help you easily transition to our business include being a maintenance fitter, fitter turner, or car mechanic, just to name a few.

As a person, you are willing to muck in, get your hands dirty, think outside the box, bring a pleasant manner to all customer interactions and take pride in the workmanship you perform. You are able to work autonomously, as well as in a team environment ensuring you follow safe working practices at all times.

- You will need to provide your own basic hand tools.
- There is the need to be on an on call roster

A laptop will be provided to assist with day-to-day records, manage time sheets and communication with our clients, so a basic understanding and computer knowledge is necessary.
