**About the role**:
Our Training Department are currently recruiting for a Senior Learning & Development Consultant. Key responsibilities in this role will include: design and delivery of purpose and future driven training, building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and working in collaboration with the wider L&D team to ensure best practice. An excellent opportunity to drive the learning experience for SkyCity employees across the SkyCity Group by designing high-quality blended learning initiatives for a range of audiences while bringing a diversity and inclusion lens to all aspects. The role involves working collaboratively with senior leadership, key stakeholders across the business and vendors to understand their capability needs and providing modern L&D solutions to suit individual and/or team needs. There is some instructional design, but more broad ownership of blended learning including fully utilising new and yet-to-be-explored features of our LMS, implementing and moderating active and impactful online communities, driving uptake of available content libraries and curating meaningful content for key stakeholder groups. The role also leads engagement with our core businesses to inform L&D's understanding of their strategic learning and development needs, and then initiate solutions to meet those needs.
**A bit about the team**
Our Learning & Development team delivers high quality learning and development programmes to grow the skills, knowledge and capability of over 4000 staff across our operations in New Zealand and Australia. Together, they ensure programmes build the capability of our people to address short, medium and long-term business challenges and align to make up a learning framework which supports clear career paths for our employees. The team is soon about to grow and will head in to an exciting space, and right now we're calling for a few talented individuals to join them
**A bit about you**
You will have proven experience in the design and delivery of digital learning for people at all levels of seniority. Be familiar with and have hands on experience with Cornerstone on Demand or a similar Learning Management System and will be seen as the expert of this system - not just an administrator but a creative super-user. You will be an excellent communicator with a strong customer service focus and the ability and desire to influence, engage and develop others. You will champion human-centred design, produce high quality learning solutions and have considerable learning development / facilitation experience.
You'll bring:
- Senior level learning & development skills and experience (including but not limited to consulting, facilitation, eLearning, onboarding, coaching)
- Senior level generalist L&D,OD,HR experience in a fast paced commercially and regulatory focused environment
- Experience managing / planning successful organisational change
- The ability to deliver in an agile work environment
- eLearning development and, considerable learning development / facilitation experience
- A certification in L&D or similar
