Our Media Department is rapidly growing with a number of strong New Zealand brands. Within this team, we provide our clients with services including cross-channel media strategy and planning, investment negotiation and media buying, digital campaign management, SEM & SEO, social media, Dashboard Reporting and Analytics.
With new client growth, we're looking for an experienced Senior Business Manager with a passion for bringing bold ideas to life in Media. This diverse and broad-reaching Senior Business Manager role is responsible for helping our team and clients develop exceptional media performance.
**The Role**
We're looking for a passionate Senior Business Manager with 6 to 8+ years media agency experience.
This role is all about excellence in Client Service - having good nouse across all channels is a hygiene factor. To effectively manage the accounts, you'll need a high level of organisation, being the client's number 1 contact and being able to answer on-the-spot media questions with ease. You'll know what all your accounts are doing at any given time, communicating between the team and organising timely outputs.
Your role will also entail inputting into strategic planning with Head of Media, Account Directors and the Strategy Team. You will lead your own accounts and be comfortable being the client lead. You will be comfortable leading and mentoring your team of direct reports.
You will be interested in the development of creative ideas and look for media opportunities to bring ideas to life. This role will work directly with the creative team to develop and execute campaigns.
You will also be comfortable negotiating the media within your team of clients. You will also oversee planning and buying by other members of the team and be responsible for the tracking and reporting of campaigns. You do this in coordination with specialist traditional and digital planner/buyers.
You'll also be comfortable contributing to agency knowledge through sharing new media insights and opportunities. We want to drive continuous improvement in what we offer and deliver it at a high level of service.

**Collaboration**: Work closely with the creative and production teams, ensuring they are equipped with all the information, tools and support necessary to execute best-in-industry digital experiences.
**Media Smarts**: Passionate about data and digital media. Always looking to learn more. Excited about creating innovative effective media campaigns to improve our clients businesses.
**Job Management**: You'll be able to work independently and with a team. The right person for the job will be highly organised, confident, have an eye for detail. A good organiser, you'll be able to prioritise your work to ensure the most important work is done with urgency and exceeds our clients expectations. You'll deal with the admin, managing invoicing and financial management of your accounts efficiently.
**Driving Innovation**: You'll contribute to our industry knowledge and capability, be comfortable presenting and inspiring the team and clients. You'll work collaboratively internally looking to figure out how to make ideas better.
**Reporting**: You'll be proficient at producing key media insights; bonus for having a good understanding of Google Analytics and event tracking for performance optimisations and reporting across all projects.
**Personal Attributes**: The ability to multi-task and stay calm under pressure is essential for this role. You might have been a Suit in another life You will be comfortable working with different teams in the agency, so a collaborative and confident working style is crucial.
