**Mō te Tūranga | About the Role**

We sat down with our Senior Manager Records, and they let us know the following about the role.

**What are the day to day tasks the person in this role will complete?**
- Monitor and report on Divisional compliance with Records Management Policy
- Operate Records Management Controls
- Provide delivery support for Records Management strategic initiatives

**What is the team culture and environment like?**

This is a highly supportive team with a great team culture and high levels of staff engagement. It is a small high-performing team, who work well together. You will also be working closely with multiple stakeholders, giving you learning and development opportunities within many avenues in the bank.

This is a new role with a focus on embedding and championing new records management processes across the business.

Someone that builds strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders to manage records risk and ensure records quality. This is a new position, so you will have the opportunity to help develop the role.

**What attributes will this person display in order to be successful in this role?**

This role is suited for a person with a strong ability to communicate clearly with, and influence, a range of stakeholders. You will need to be organised, flexible, and have a good ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
- 5+ years Information Management experience, working in a regulated environment
- Experience with analytical and reporting tools, including Power BI
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, stakeholder and influencing skills with the ability to navigate all levels within BNZ
- Understanding of financial services information related regulations (e.g., NZ Privacy Law reform, CPS 234, CPG 235, EU GDPR, BSCB239)
