The Diabetes Service provides support in an outpatient setting for adults with diabetes including Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus, Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus and Gestational Diabetes.
Our team provides satellite clinics across the Waitemata DHB area, facilitates group sessions and advises multi-disciplinary team health professionals in the nutritional management of diabetes.

To be considered for this role, you will need to be registered with the New Zealand Dietetics board, hold a current APC, and have at least 5 years' experience as a Diabetes Dietitian.

**Ideally you will have**:

- Experience implementing and delivering structured education for people living with diabetes - Preferably DAFNE trained
- Experience in leading innovation and knowledge of quality improvement principles and processes
- Experience leading/supervising staff including an ability to facilitate change
- Experience leading clinical research, audit and evaluation
- Actively involved in diabetes specialist groups at a regional and national level.
