**Your new company**

This Government organisation is a leader in the public service, with a focus on policies and partnerships that grow opportunities for New Zealand's future development. They are seeking an administrator with an interest in expanding their legal knowledge to support with cases relating to employment mediations.

**Your new role**

You will be responsible for managing the process of employment disputes, from initial submission through to resolution, and supporting Board members with the administration of this process.

This will include, but is not limited to:

- Organise meetings and appointments for case hearings
- Organise travel and accommodation for Board members as required
- Managing internal and external relationships at varying levels of seniority
- Minute-taking and distribution

**What you'll need to succeed**

An interest in law, particularly employment law, would be highly valued - there are huge amounts of learning opportunities available with this position, and this would be most beneficial for someone with an interest in that space. You will need experience in case management, with attention to detail and strong organisation skills, and ideally some knowledge of legal jargon. This can be from work experience or from a law degree.
