Our client is a trusted seismic strengthening and concrete repair company that has evolved from a small family - run exterior plastering and concrete repair business. They’re now one of New Zealand's leading structural maintenance, seismic strengthening, and concrete repairs contractors.

Operating out of Auckland for more than 25 years but deliver their services throughout the North Island and Fiji with the current project based in Pirongia, Waikato.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Co-ordinate tasks according to priorities and plans
- Produce schedules, paperwork and monitor attendance of crew - Including (but not limited to): Timesheets, daily paperwork, permits
- Allocate general and daily responsibilities - Including (but not limited to): Daily Prestart meetings, Toolbox meetings
- Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met and adhered to
- Organise material and plant for job sites
- Monitor expenditure and ensure the jobs run within budget
- Liaison with Suppliers and Subcontractors
- Investigate health, safety and environmental events
- Ensure all Seismic strengthening and composite processes, procedures, materials, chemicals, equipment and tools, are used, maintained and operated to the highest standards
- Supervise employees and contractors
- Technical advice as required
- Onsite training of staff
- Keep management informed of job status
- Ensure tools are maintained and well kept
- Attendance to meetings as required including Foreman’s meeting every week
- Other duties as directed that may be required from time to time

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

- Proven Leadership skills
- Preferred to have experience and knowledge with Concrete within Civil industry
- Good and effective communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills and proven track record of delivery
- Strong technical knowledge of concrete remediation
- Possess strong leadership ability, and able to work as part of a team
- Ability to be proactive and also to foresee events and react appropriately
- Valid Full drivers licence required (Must be able to drive manual)
- You must be able to pass all pre-employment checks, including drug test

BENEFITS:

- Starting salary $85k (Salary negotiable based on experience)
