**About the role**:
Some of your key responsibilities will include:

- Lesson preparation and delivery
- Academic oversight over a smaller group of students
- Completing administrative tasks as appropriate to the role
- Escalating any academic or pastoral issues through the middle/senior leaders (who will in turn communicate with parents and agents)

**The role commences Term 2, 2024 (22 April).**

**About you**:
You must be able to demonstrate commitment to teamwork and be able to make a positive contribution to the work of the teaching team. As a highly organised individual who likes to plan and work efficiently, managing your schedule and meeting deadlines will be second nature to your passion for teaching, which will be demonstrated through the consistent positive student feedback. Your openness to explore disciplinary differences, in particular the distinctive features of language and genres used in those disciplines, will be evident. You will also be familiar and experienced with using digital technology for teaching, learning, assessment, and related administrative tasks.

You must possess the following:

- NZ teacher registration (or the ability to obtain a Limited Authority to Teach, with the college’s support)
- Previous experience teaching Design and Art History
- The right to work in New Zealand

Experience in an international students’ environment is preferred, but not essential.
